November sein eigenes Projekt ins The Room.
Full Throttle Through the Desert — Joshua Milo Band
Joshua Milo wants jazz fusion to be fun: less brainy, all the more thrilling, funny and danceable. One moment feels like racing through a Mario Kart track, the next you’re wandering through a dusty desert landscape. The Berlin-based keyboardist, producer and YouTube tinkerer turns every show into an adventure full of twists, interaction and collective euphoria. After his band TILAR’s celebrated guest appearance here this year, Joshua Milo brings his own project to The Room on 13 November.
With his studio album “Wait What”, Joshua Milo looks back on almost a decade of songs, featuring more than 20 musicians, including a string quartet and international guests from Japan, Italy, France, Norway and the USA. Captivating, maximalist, quirky and danceable, that’s how he describes his own sound, and live it becomes a feast for head and body.
Concert starts at 8 pm. Admission is free. Readiness to groove and donations for the music are warmly welcomed.
